Kakuro Kakuro
How to play Kakuro
Kakuro is similar to both sudoku and traditional crossword games.
Like a Crossword
Similar to crosswords, Kakuro has clues both across and down. When you put numbers in the vacant squares, the sum must equal the given clues. This is why the game is sometimes called 'cross sums'.
Like a Sudoku
Just like a sudoku, you cannot have the same number in a row or column. If a row is broken into 2 areas by a clue, then you can have the same number occuring once in each of the separate areas.

Talk about anything and everything, but nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!

Yes,fortunately it is done without the orphans.
I still counted the orphans which is supposed to be 7 when I substract the horizontals from the verticals.
How can this be used, since the total of the orphans are 20 after I complete the puzzle.
Thanks to anyone who can help for future puzzles with quad orphans.

Sorry for the question,I recounted the orphans and they amount to 0.I will try to figure out the use of quad orphans

Consider that the two horizontal orphans total 10 and the two vertical orphans total 10. Next, the sum horizontally is 105 (missing two orphans) and the sum vertically is 105 (missing the other two orphans). Whatever the value, both sets (horizontal, vertical) of orphans must give the same sum.

526, no orphans needed which is a shame. It's fun to have to use the quad orphans.
