Kakuro Kakuro
How to play Kakuro
Kakuro is similar to both sudoku and traditional crossword games.
Like a Crossword
Similar to crosswords, Kakuro has clues both across and down. When you put numbers in the vacant squares, the sum must equal the given clues. This is why the game is sometimes called 'cross sums'.
Like a Sudoku
Just like a sudoku, you cannot have the same number in a row or column. If a row is broken into 2 areas by a clue, then you can have the same number occuring once in each of the separate areas.

Talk about anything and everything, but nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!
a tough nada after easy first 8 cells, but maybe someone can find an easier solution

Did a little research to try to find the first time someone used 'nada' in the comments. I'm saying it was around June of 2014. There was a short period of 'Nono' then Nada appeared. It was cursory research, so I could be wrong.

+ P at C is the key.

Sounds about right, Charles. Before that, we were doing -o-p. There are earlier puzzles that say 'nada' (e.g., March 1, 2006) but those notes were added after 2014.

Nada but a slog after probably the same 8 numbers that Aspie found easy.

my nada solution. after easy eight cells. there has to be a 6X between 21A and 38A. The cross has to be in two of 39D, 20D and 38D. Imagine the X in 39D and 38D, and its quick to see that 20D just won't work. Therefore 20D has to have part of the 6X. Which solves all cells of 21A and the test of the puzzle
