Kakuro Kakuro
How to play Kakuro
Kakuro is similar to both sudoku and traditional crossword games.
Like a Crossword
Similar to crosswords, Kakuro has clues both across and down. When you put numbers in the vacant squares, the sum must equal the given clues. This is why the game is sometimes called 'cross sums'.
Like a Sudoku
Just like a sudoku, you cannot have the same number in a row or column. If a row is broken into 2 areas by a clue, then you can have the same number occuring once in each of the separate areas.

Talk about anything and everything, but nice to each other - you don't have to agree, but this is not the place for personal attacks. As Sir Paul McCartney said: 'I used to think anyone doing anything weird was weird. Now I know that it is the people that call others weird that are weird' (longer explanation). Enjoy!
great puzzle without orphans, several challenging problems to solve with relatively unusual logic solutions

Only got H & I before getting bogged down.
Can't see a way forward without guessing.
No fun in that so I will give it a miss today.

it is in the 5's and 6's. need two of each for the 21D's.
because of the effect of the 9 in 30D, you can get only one 5 or one 6 in total out of 19A and 16A.
There's a limited number of combos for 25A.
Ok, that's enough clues!

Joe +1, armed with essential clues, you can work out the value of T in your head, and then do the entire puzzle without possibilities (or orphans of course)

Took me a long time. Only got so far with Chris' reasoning and starting running mental chains. Can't say I enjoyed this one. Nice picture.

I have labored long and cannot solve it, even with orphans, and don't want to guess. Will try again some other day.

Walkthrough ....

the two 21D's are going to need a 56 in each.
19A and 16A can only supply a maximum of one 5 or one 6 (because of the effect of placing the 9 in 30D in one of 19A/16A).

because 9A and 7A can only supply 6's, it is clear that the missing 5 has to come from More...
